Duane La Bom

Duane La Bom is a seasoned business leader with a strong track record of using human resources as a strategic lever to drive business performance. With experience spanning both fast-growing startups and established Fortune 100 companies, he has consistently built high-performing, inclusive cultures that fuel innovation and growth.

Before joining Bexar County, Duane served as Vice President of Human Resources at Epsilon, a global marketing technology company with over 8,000 employees. He previously held the role of Vice President of Talent Management and Chief Diversity Officer at Cornerstone OnDemand, a publicly traded software company. His earlier HR leadership roles include tenures at Tesoro, Texas Instruments, Rackspace, Toyota Motor Manufacturing North America, and International Paper.

A native of Louisiana, Duane earned his degree in Industrial Engineering from Northwestern State University and completed the Advanced HR Management Program at Cornell University’s School of Industrial and Labor Relations. He is also a proud veteran, having served in the Louisiana Army National Guard as an Electrician and in the U.S. Air Force Reserves as a Communications Officer.

Duane now resides in San Antonio with his wife and two daughters. His wife is a small business owner, and together they enjoy traveling and staying active through a variety of sports and outdoor activities.

Louis Herrera

Louis Herrera has worked in the manufacturing maintenance field for 44 years. He studied mechanical engineering for four years plus an additional three years of electrical engineering. Louis eventually retired from Toyota in San Antonio after thirteen years of service. Unable to keep still even in retirement, he joined the Workforce team in July of 2019 to share his experience with the next generation of maintenance techs.

Louis has been married for over fifty years. He has five children, twenty grandchildren and is now a proud great grandpa of one.

Shaun McGlynn

Shaun served 20 years in the Air Force, specializing in aircraft maintenance and recruiting service, he brings a wealth of leadership, discipline, and operational expertise to every endeavor. He holds a bachelor’s degree in management and continues to lead by example both professionally and personally. Outside of his career, he is a dedicated youth hockey coach, committed to mentoring young athletes and fostering teamwork and discipline. Above all, he is a proud husband and father of two.

Michael "Coach" Diaz

Michael (Coach) served as a public-school teacher and Coach for 16 years in the South Texas area. He left teaching and went to work in the oilfield for over ten years before joining Bexar County.  He worked for the Adult Detention Center for over a year as a maintenance technician before joining the Bexar County Fire Marshal/OEM office, where he served as a first responder, among other duties. Michael returned to his roots of teaching, joining the TX Fast Track Team, where he serves as an Administrator/Instructor.

Outside of teaching, Coach enjoys spending time with his wife Velma, and his three grandsons. Coach is also the father of two, a son MJ and daughter Nadia.

Natalia Ayala

Natalia Ayala was born and raised in San Antonio. She currently is the Data Specialist for Workforce Development, where she leads the data strategy for TX Fast Track. She joined the team in November of 2024. She tracks program outcomes, analyzes alumni success, builds interactive dashboards, and makes sure the data tells a clear story. She also re-designed the entire TX Fast Track website, including the very page you’re reading now. 

Natalia holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry and Genetics with a minor in History from Texas A&M University (College Station, Texas) and a Master of Science in Data Science from Eastern University (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania). With a strong foundation in science and analytics, she brings structure, clarity, and intention to every project. She’s passionate about using data and technology to improve how workforce programs serve the community—making sure the systems behind the scenes work just as hard as the people in them.

Stephanie Grusenmeyer

Stephanie Grusenmeyer holds a bachelor’s degree in Multidisciplinary Studies from UTSA, focusing on Health, Communications, and Sociology. She began her career with Bexar County in 2019 at BiblioTech South, later joining the Outreach team. In 2021, she transitioned to the Economic and Community Development Department, first on the Community Development Team before moving into her current role as Workforce Engagement Specialist on the Workforce Team.

Nicole Galindo

Nicole is a creative marketing and communications professional with a strong background in community engagement, social media strategy, and public relations. She holds a BA in Communications and Marketing from Loyola University New Orleans and is passionate about storytelling, branding, and building meaningful connections.

Lianna Mendoza

Lianna Mendoza is a San Antonio native. She has a bachelor’s degree from the University of North Texas in Political Science with minors in Criminal Justice and Social Science. Lianna began her career working with individuals living with HIV/AIDS in Dallas before returning home and working for Bexar County Office of Criminal Justice in 2023. She later transitioned to Economic Development in 2024 as an admin and was promoted to Wraparound Support Specialist in 2025.
